All researchers collect data -- numerical, images, or words -- and given the Capital Region’s enhanced capabilities with machine learning and artificial intelligence, an untapped opportunity exists to convert your work into software for commercialization purposes. 

Join us on Wednesday, March 12, from 12-1:30 p.m. at ETEC to learn how to turn your data-heavy research into products or services. We will walk you through the development process, the importance of customer discovery, and the essentials of licensing via technology transfer. 
 
We will also announce how you can do all of this within a four-month period during Summer 2025 with exciting new programming from the UAlbany Innovation Center. Developers on the undergraduate, graduate, and post doc levels are strongly encouraged to join the event in an effort to connect researchers with coders/developers who may want to collaborate.
